My name is Sra. Frailey. I’m a state-certified K-12 Spanish teacher who offers private tutoring sessions online via Zoom. If you want the resources and support to help your child to learn to speak Spanish using research-backed techniques, you’re in the right place!

Professional experience

I received my bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. There, I was fortunate to study under the mentorship of Dr. Eileen Glisan, the former president of ACTFL, along with many other amazing Spanish professors. I gained a deep understanding of the fundamentals of language acquisition. I also had many opportunities to practice applying techniques that allow students to actually learn to understand and speak Spanish. If you feel that your own high school Spanish experience or child’s learning experiences in the past fell flat, I can probably tell you why and how we’re going to change that! 

Personal experience

From January to August of 2018, I studied in Cholula, México. A piece of my heart will forever remain there. During that time, I took classes on Spanish grammar, Mexican film/literature, and teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Additionally, I soaked in as much of the food, music, and culture as I could. I love to share these with my students whenever I can!
